"Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man." ~ His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

1st and the 2nd pic is taken on 4th Sept 2013 on the platform of Panvel's railway Station. It looked like a dog bite, possibly week old injury. Absolutely weak, thirsty, hungry...but cannot eat or drink of her own.

She was brought to Apna Home and was 1st given loads of love, cleaning and water with a syringe. She was scared at first. But soon started wagging her tail. She has a spirit to live and beat the odd. I named her Kali-Maa.

3rd pic is also of Kali-Maa take on 29th Sept 2013. She can now eat herself.

4th pic is of Sitara. Another similar case rescued 4 yrs ago when she was just a month old puppy. She too has survived and has proved that such cases deserve to live.

I try helping and saving each and every life because I'm against putting down of animals, whatsoever!
